The cold air is here, on the heels of a crazy week of weather in the Northeast. Coming through hurricane Sandy unscathed leaves me feeling grateful for the many blessings that we celebrate. With family and friends in the heart of the storm, I am even that much more grateful that the effects on their homes and lives have been disruptive at most, but without any major losses. So today, I am thankful. Thankful for these little things. For the daily walk to school. The early morning greetings of hugs and kisses. For the treasures of life.
