Lazy Days grown up skirt

I made these skirts for myself last summer and pretty much lived in them all season. I love the lightweight cotton and the ease and comfort they give on a hot day. Wear them to the beach or playground, or to a bbq with friends, they're so versatile and SO easy to make!

If it looks familiar, it's because it's essentially the same skirt as this, which I blogged about here.

......only in grown up form

Grown ups are entitled to a lazy days skirt too, yes?

Here are my modifications:

1)  I used the same width as suggested in the Oliver & S pattern, went from selvedge to selvedge; both of these were 44" wide. If you want a fuller skirt, you could add more width - sew two 44 inch wide pieces together and go from there.

2) For my length, I measured from my waist to mid knee, my measurement is 18 inches. I added 2 inches, as suggested in the pattern.

There you have it, a lazy days grown up skirt, go make a couple!
