I learned how to make these this past weekend! They are SO fun! I am fortunate to have a long time crocheter as a teacher to help me along. For some reason, I had this strong desire to put the knitting needles down and learn how to make these. I was inspired by this blanket that was recently made for my daughter by her great great grandmother.
Feeling lucky to have a 92(!) year old, spry young lady, to help me learn this. A weekend afternoon spent inside, away from the beach-y sun, learning how to make crochet granny squares. I wouldn't have traded it for the world!
