I made this citron shawl in yellow for my mom's birthday. Her favorite color is yellow, which always makes me smile because it is so fitting for her happy and positive personality. She and my dad were going to come for a visit this past weekend to celebrate but with all the craziness here in Boston, they decided to stay in New Jersey. With my nerves frazzled from all that happened last week, knitting this was comforting to say the least. Though this yarn was challenging to knit with, the results are better than I expected.
I hope mom likes it!
I'm happy to welcome the sunshine today and hoping things return to some sort of normalcy as we continue to think of and pray for those affected from last week's events.
