I love January. January brings the promise for a peaceful hibernation. Yes, February comes and then March and then even April and the air is still cold, cabin fever hits, and we are antsy for the sun and warmth. But January, oh how beautiful and wintery it could be. Lovely.
January is my month of knitting. The needles are clicking, the yarn skeins are organized and projects are queued. No holiday pressure to make, just knitting what wants to be knitted.
Made with Bernat Roving
Made with Plymouth Yarn De Aire.
These Drop Stitch cowls are super cozy and a great way to use up 1 skein of bulky yarn if you have any in your stash. The pattern is by Abi Gregorio of the Spider Woman knits. You could find the pattern here. These are so cozy and satisfying.
