For the past couple of summers, I have made shorts for my son - they are so very easy to make, and once you get going, you can make a number of pairs in just a few hours. I often use a current pair of fitting shorts to make my own pattern and go from there. They are great to lounge in, play in, sleep in, and whatever else your little guy or gal may want to do!
